I haven't received my order. What should I do?

Check the email you received after placing your order. It should contain information about the status of your order and the expected delivery date.

What if the package is held by customs?

Since all khukuris are shipped from Nepal, customs procedures may vary by country. If your package is delayed or held by customs, please contact your local customs office for clearance details. We’re always ready to assist with any documents required for verification.

 

If the resolution time for the dispute is excessively prolonged, and you prefer not to wait, what actions should be taken?

If all other options fail, you may need to consider taking legal action. This can be a lengthy and costly process, so it's important to weigh the potential benefits against the risks and costs.

When will I receive my order?

All khukuris are handcrafted and dispatched from Nepal. Standard delivery usually takes 10–20 business days, depending on your location. Tracking details will be provided once your item ships.

How can I place an order?

You can place your order directly through our official website. Simply choose your preferred khukuri, add it to the cart, and proceed to checkout. Custom engraving or design requests can also be mentioned before payment.

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, international credit/debit cards, and secure bank transfers. All payments are processed safely through encrypted gateways.

 

I made a payment, but it didn’t go through. What should I do?

If your payment was deducted but the order didn’t process, please contact us immediately with your transaction reference. We’ll verify the payment and ensure your khukuri order is confirmed or issue a refund if needed.

 

Can I modify my order after placing it?

Since each khukuri is handcrafted to order, changes can only be made within 24 hours of placing the order. After production begins, we may not be able to make modifications.

 

How will I receive confirmation of my order?

Once payment is complete, a confirmation email with your order details and estimated delivery date will be sent. You can also track your order using our Track Your Order page.

What if the package is held by customs?

If your khukuri is delayed by customs, please contact us along with your tracking number. We can provide documentation confirming the authenticity and legal nature of your product to help speed up clearance.

 

My khukuri arrived damaged. What should I do?

We sincerely apologize if your khukuri was damaged during shipping. Please email us photos of the product and packaging within 48 hours of delivery. Once verified, we’ll send a replacement. 

How do I maintain and care for my khukuri?

To keep your khukuri in its best form:

  • Apply a light coat of machine oil or gun oil on the blade after use.

  • Store it in a dry place to avoid rust.

  • Avoid direct contact with water for long periods.

  • For wooden handles, apply natural wax or oil occasionally.

Do your khukuris come with a warranty?

Yes — all khukuris from NgurkhaKhukuriHouse come with a 3 years warranty. This covers defects in materials or manufacturing, not wear from regular use or improper care.

We can replicate your previous design or modify it to your preference. Just mention your previous order ID or share a reference photo, and our blacksmith team will handcraft your next piece to match.
